Bikes Wanted

Thanks to all of you for visiting the website, looking at or for the motorcycle you may have grown up on, or at least wanted back in the day. I get numerous requests for a variety of vintage motorcycles every week, so we now have created this forum for those seeking a specific bike. Send me your emails, stating what you're looking for, and I'll post it. Please let me know when we get a deal done!

Hi Brad,
I purchased a very clean 1984 Yamaha RZ350 Kenny Roberts replica through you
a few years ago. The bike is posted on your photo gallery. The seller was
located in Connecticut. I was very happy with the bike and the transaction.

I am looking for a clean, stock, 1971 Yamaha RT-1 360 Enduro, and a late
1970's, early 1980's Yamaha SR500 thumper. Please let me know if you know of someone interested in selling either bike.Thank you! Tom Schroeder theschrode@yahoo.com

I'm looking for a 1972-1973 Honda SL350K-2. I owned a couple when I was a kid and throughout the 23 bkes I've owned in my 50 years, the SL350 is the one I have missed the most. I'm looking for a "TurnKey" rider, something I can take on my Sunday morning ride of about 2 hours duration. It does not have to be a 100% ShowQueen but I would like it to be an Eight on a 1 through 10 scale.
Thanks,
Mitch mitchcameron@hughes.net Brad:

Hello Brad, I have been visiting your website on and off for quite a while, I enjoy it immensely. I had a 1968 Norton p11 when I was 17 years old ( my first bike ), it was stolen when I just 18 and I always wanted another. I have a 66 BSA Lighting now but it is just not the same.I am looking for something that I can ride and not make a big deal out of, not perfect but not junk either. Thanks,Don  pdk-inc@comcast.net

Hi Brad, I'm looking for a Laverda and would consider the following models:RGS 1000 (not executive), 1000 Jota (180 or 120), and 750 sf 1 or 2. I might consider other models but these are my top choices.Steve in Unity, ME scmurdock@uninets.net

Hi Brad stumbled on to your site, and I'm thankfull as you are close. I am working to this being my same hobby as I age. I would like to post my bike wanted  1978 Suzuki RM 400. rskybizintrees@yahoo.com. I curently also am looking for a set of carbs for my Honda sl350. And if you know of any "cycle scrapyards" I am in lake city Florida and seeking, resources for 70's jap stuff and anything Norton (my prefered ride)! Cheers to your site and a great new year! Joel

Brad, I am looking for a Norton Commando with Electric Start. I have had a Triumph around for a long time. I kept my first street bike, a 1970 Jacaranda and Silver Daytona which still looks and runs great. Through the years the 1972 square tank Bonneville turned in to a 1974 Trident with black tank and gold spears. I have very few regrets but one is not buying the 1975 Black and Gold Commando for a few hundred dollars and my Trident.

I am interested in a daily rider, not a trailer queen that is so nice I wouldn’t want to ride. These old bikes are made to be used and if you know of a Norton looking for a good home with a person that will cherish and ride it keep me in mind. Rick Rblair@audioquest.com

Hi Brad: Just browsing through your "Bikes Wanted" page and thought about my first new motorcycle. It was a 1963 Tohatsu Runpet Sport 50. I would like to find one in decent original condition. That little 50cc was a real goer considering it only had a 3 speed box! I still have a picture of me on my new bike on Christmas morning of 1963 riding around the back yard.
